Wesley Methodist School

Wesley Methodist School group is not not just for dropouts but a place to learn. Currently there are 5 schools in Malaysia. The private schools embrace the Malaysian Syllabus which emphasized on UPSR, PMR and SPM examinations. Besides from academic excellence, the school also actively involve in extra curricular activities.

The Wesley Methodist School group began with its first campus in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur and was originally known as the Methodist College, Sentul Campus. The school was set up by the Presidential Task Force of the Methodist Church in Malaysia in 1976.

In line with the Methodist heritage of a quality holistic education for young people, the school was originally intended to provide a “second chance” to school dropouts from the government education system so that they would be prepared for life with a quality education. From its modest start with some 80 students, the Methodist College has since gradually earned a name for itself as a disciplined, quality secondary school – erasing the social stigma of being a school merely for dropouts.

Today, the Wesley Methodist School group has grown and expanded to encompass 5 campuses in key locations such as Ipoh, Klang, Melaka, Sentul and Seremban. The school has grown from strength to strength on the back of its excellent results in all Public Examinations, as well as in providing a well-balanced all-rounded education with strong emphasis on character development based on good moral values, culminating in academic excellence with a high standard of discipline. Our schools also boast excellent extra-curricular programmes and numerous learning opportunities both locally and abroad.
